Listed some ASE's on CU BST yesterday morning for $19 each (spot was $16.xx) Well known member PM's me and says he'll take them and will pay when he gets home from work. I didn't hear back from him before I hit the sack. Woke up with a message from him today saying: "Spot has dropped overnight to $15 so that makes these $4 over spot, Can you give me a better deal?"
Spot was over $16 when I checked it this morning, Must have moved around a bunch while I was sleeping. Pisses me off b/c i was selling them to pay for a bust quarter I purchased and I took them off the market all day yesterday for him. Haven't heard back yet if he is going to take them now that spot is back over $16.
I've never backed out of a deal b/c spot dropped in the middle of the deal. That's BS in my book.
if you didn't change your price, you have no transaction to honor. I'd imagine when you click "buy" at APMEX they don't allow you to click "unbuy" later, do they?

I agree... Hell I sold you a couple hundred ounces+ awhile back at spot, and before I shipped them they went up a $1.00 over....... You owe me peckerwood!!!

He is VERY slow at shipping things as well.. I stopped dealing with him a year or so ago.. I don't have time to waste with people like him..
fuddernutter no, Sold them to someone else after 36 hours of no response. I had posted in the for sale thread about the dick head wanting better deal b/c spot dropped. Guy who took them was sure to mention he wouldn't back out if spot dropped b/c he's sending money order

Maybe you can use some of that money to buy a new avatar...
Haven't heard back yet if he is going to take them now that spot is back over $16.
