I think my VW has a cracked oil pan ("frost heaves" are evil).
Was inspecting my chain saw today, found the wire to the spark plug cracked. Sure was looking forward to using it one of these days when the back heals.

avoided the dealership, went to the trustworthy local guy for the car. $483. I figured it would have been three days and a grand at the dealership.
$12 for the saw, including two spark plugs and a thrown-in-for-free Stihl multitool with the torx head screwdriver built in.
