My auto mechanic in Detroit. Took care of the Fiat and the Chevys for a decade. It was a classic full service station. Sol ran the front end and his brother Ike kept that damn Spider running through Michigan winters. For a year they yelled at me for buying the POS

fuddernutter the self serve crap, clean your windshield, check the oil and pump the fuel. It was well worth the extra ten or 15 cents to not spill fuel on a new suit.

Obit noted that he survived the Nazis. Didn't know that, they would have been kids.

Two and a half years and 50,000 miles...it was truly a junker at the end.

Muffler dropped out at just over the 12k warranty.

Even had four tires blow out in a couple years. They were Pirellis' WTF.

Was sweet in the Summertime though.
