How much does a lid go for these days? :weedman:

Did you ever find one? I still need an HD.

Used to think it was stupid to buy a new one, when old joint compound buckets are everywhere for free. But that's before I realized the future collectible value TM of these. If I'm at a home improvement or farm and ranch store and they have them with their logo, i put one onto my order. Lowes has a matching blue lid, but I haven't found any other ones that have a matching lid.. i think hd does. Menards sticks you with a white lid. it's a drive but i'll get hd eventually. i'll grab a bucheits one on the same trip.

when dad passed, i inherited hats from every place around, unworn. he'd just get em and put them away. some i drove around and gave back to them, and that was good for some good conversations about the old days when he'd picked them up.

mine will get buckets and i wish i could be there to see it
