Been out of Dodge for a bit, but just to let the crowd know I've never been strung!! 
Not yellow jackets, not wasps (red or black), not hornets, bumble bees, honey bees; nada!!!
I must have a 'stink' about me!!
When I was aged 7-11 I'd go around the 'hood offering my services for 'stinger removal' when they were nested in the old lady's clotheslines.
$2 per eradication; poke 'em out with a broom, gas 'em, and stomp and burn the fuggahs. Made over a hundo one summer. Gave $moe to big Jimmie to buy me smoe brewski whilst I plotted my next money making scheme.
