90% down

Post by TRx »

When you have a large manufacturing/processing plant and you get a call at 5am on a Friday going into New Years weekend that 90% of your processing capacity is down... it's not a good way to start the day.

I'm on site now and kicking ass, taking names, and making everyone wish that they hadn't fuddernutter up.

If I disappear after today please inform the authorities to look for my body inside the machines, or trash compactor or possibly in the bulk tank of acid. I'm not very popular this morning.

"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

Came back in at 2am and we've got one issue addressed and 2 new ones popped up. Got parts (pump and motor made in Italy) being flown in from Louisiana this morning... supposedly. I'm waiting to receive the flight info so I can go pick up the stuff. Then a mother board died in an Elado chemical station and got a guy here now working on that.

This is not how I planned on spending my holiday weekend... but... mama needs a new pair of shoes so I keep working.

Everything is running. I’m in the garage drinking beer and putting together my sharpening system and slow speed grinder. What could go wrong?

Not a damn thing if you cut the phone off and drink enough beer.

Likewise friend. I ended up needing 2 long bolts that I didn’t have. I didn’t want to go back to Home Depot so I called it a day
