Pretty much half the people I know have had cataracts removed in the last 5 or 6 years. All are gleeful for a few months and then, not so much.

Most I speak to are positive. Mine was an outlier.
Fortunately, the right eye is 20/20 and amazing to my ophtho.
I have ....some... vision in the left but it's like a kaleidoscope.

Checked with top specialist. Not for this type. Age probly enters decision.

Never wore glasses. Vision was perfect. But not anymore. I often use readers for reading now a days. And when it comes to coins my eyes are now failing me which is one of the reasons I have pulled myself from the game.

I used to wear them. I needed correction for distance. Then I'd either come into the office to do paperwork and have to remove them, or have to have a conversation with someone but stand like 5 feet away otherwise they'd be blurry.. It became a big pain in the ass so I gave up.

No. Never tried them. After cataract surgery I only need reading glasses.
