It was aquarium maintenance day!

Post by Barkley »

Actually my Brother did it today.
Pull filter bags 4 and algae scrubbers 4, rinse and put back, wash off lights underneath to remove algae
Pull filter tubes and rinse out with bottle brush

Pull algae scrubber, wash algae pad and replace.
Clean gravel, scrape and scrub inside tank
Top off tank, Windex outside of tank
Once a week. Pull and scrub rocks every 3rd week.
Takes about 1 hour-ish
3 hours later this is how it looks

Looking fantastic Barks. My last tank looks like Elmo right now.

How often do you need to polish the inside of the tank glass?

Do the fish try to bite you, when you are polishing the inside of the tank?

Do you laugh at your brother when he gets bit?

Once per week, No,they do not bite, he hasn't been bit either, I might chuckle though if that ever happened
