As much as I despise DU, they're on the right side on this one. These bottomfeeders are suing them for an obvious fair use quote.

Since I discovered that my local newspaper has contracted with these fellows, I hesitate to read my local newspaper. The quotes clearly stop; no links or partial quotes either. I am amazed and disgusted at the business practice. It's all part of media going down the tubes.

We'll be left with fuddernutter YouTube which is a wasteland.

Unfortunately these 'law firms' have sprouted up like consumer junk debt buyers. I've been hit by one. For one fuddernutter sentence. Better to play it safe until they're slammed multiple times.

I'm not sure yet but for now I've banned any copy/paste on my sites. Safe as in linking only and paraphrasing. I'm still researching the 'law firm' I got the letter from but basically it says 'remove the offending content on your site and pay us $500 to go away'.
