heading to the ER

Post by onthespot »

I think I broke a rib a while back. At the time I thought I just tore an intercostal muscle some, but it is feeling more like I broke something as time goes by. Ouch. Muther FUTZ!!!

How did you manage to do that? Hope you have a speedy recovery. Don't forget to ask for a prescription for some good pain killers.

Kama Sutra is for younger people.
"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

When I screwed up my rib on my side it would make a click sound and I'd push on it and it would snap back into place. That was some painful Elmo. I hurt too bad to ride in a car, so my doc just called the in a week's worth of steroids and I spent two weeks sitting in a lazy boy with pillows packed against my sides so I couldn't move. That was a coupla years ago and it still hurts if I poke at it or twist my torso.

What I'm saying is, I feels your pain. I really do.
It’s going to get worse before it gets better.

Well, the doc couldn't see anything on the x-ray, and he smiled when I said (FACK) really loud when he pressed "right there" which happened to be partway under my left (spectacular) 55 year old breast.
He thinks it's mostly soft tissue and will take a long time to heal up.
I think it is a combination of things, starting with a slip on some cardboard unloading a trailer of debris at the dump, followed by a horse forgetting to stay going in a circle and instead cut across and jerked me off my feet by one arm. I did tuck and roll for that one and got upright quick, but it hurt more than before. Then caring for a 200#+ hemiplegic that likes to just sow as in S-OW female pig up and brace back and make me lift her when she is supposed to be nose over toes and lifting herself... That plus helping clean and rake and haul junk out of her yard that probably has not been cleaned in 25 years... moving large heavy items onto the trailer, and helping unload it at the dump. And plus, removing old carpet from the master bedroom so the new flooring can go in. That was a bitch... Just a combo of everything. I buy a couple bales of hay two three times a week too. Move those myself. Anyhow, nothing to see here... (until I go fill the NORCO script) LOL

Few medical people respond to a made up word.

Try putting a U in "FACK."

I know doctor stuff. :!:

Don't you have a boy friend to help with the heavy lifting while you recover? Hope you are feeling better soon and I don't just mean from the pain killers. :D

No, Perry, no boyfriend. Right now I'd blow a stranger if he'd do the heavy lifting though... whistle:

Listen toots, when's the last time you ever saw an honor bound OFR poster mention something that would best be kept private?
