There are certain things we gotta put up with.
Although life seems not to have been notified that OFR members are to be accorded SPECIAL treatment and open adulation.

So I'm testing a pet peeves thread where we can all gather (if so desired) and air our phenomenal grievances against the ignorant gods of cruelty.

I'm pretty sure we all have things happen that we don't deserve (due to our specialness) but nothing can be done about them unless we bring them to light and make the country aware.

WE SHALL NOT PUT UP WITH STUFF NO MORE UNLESS IT'S GOOD STUFF !!

That's our mantra, slogan, and declaration of intent.

BACON!

I hate bacon that doesn't cook EVENLY.
You know what I mean.
One end gets done and to keep it from crisping to ash, you have to slide that end up the side of the pan so it doesn't cook as MUCH as the uncooperative end.

This is UNTENABLE!

The people in the drive thru at the banks which have absolutely nothing ready. They need a deposit slip, they need a pen, they need to know their balance or have three different transactions they want to make. Lazy fuddernutters go into the bank.

Some of these are the same people at store check outs have all their items rung up and only after being told what the total is, then discover they need to pay and start to try to locate their card or cash.


Actually surprised some of the more regressive states have banned them due to all the carbon emissions being created.

it is your own fault for having a pan that heats unevenly. bacon is not at fault here.

Bacon IS at fault. MY brand is the best in the world but THIS batch has a real BIG end and a little end.
The pan is excellent cast iron and heats just as evenly as my ire at you!

Most bacon is a bit larger at one end than another.

if you would take care and watch what you were doing then there would be no issue.
