50 is sort of old.
To young folks, 40 is kind of old.
I regularly watch Andy Griffith episodes from 55 years ago, even a bit older than that.
That would be like your grandfather in 1965 watching a show from 1910.
They didn't have TV shows from 1910 of course, but they had some old crackly movies.
