Just sold the last crypto I had left, some ADA. SEC just called it a security. This crypto thing was fun and I made some money, but I am 100% done with it now. Probably.

Ваnk of America is wаrnіng its clients that АLL checking аccоunts are likely to be replaced with digital dоllаrs sооn.

And it's not just Ваnk of America.

More than 110 banks have already enrolled in a pilot program that I believe is the trojan horse for the digital dоllаr.

I'm talking about bаnks like JPMorgan Chase, the largest bаnk in America…

U.S. Ваnk, Wells Fargo, and Citigroup, just to mention a few.

Sam Bankman-Free...for now.
https://nypost.com/2023/07/27/feds-drop ... man-fried/

The now-dropped charge alleged that Bankman-Fried and his cohorts used tens of millions of dollars in FTX funds to illegally make over 300 donations to curry favor with candidates who could pass laws that would help his company.

Bankman-Fried is on home detention at his family’s house in California on $250 million bond as he awaits trial.

...still faces 12 other charges in the case, though five more of the counts are still in question because they were added after he was extradited.

YUGE!

US House Committee Passes Bill To Block Federal Reserve From Issuing A CBDC
https://insidebitcoins.com/news/us-hous ... ing-a-cbdc
The bill has provisions preventing the Federal Reserve from issuing a CBDC to individuals. It also blocks it from indirectly issuing a CBDC through an intermediary. The Fed will also be barred from using a CBDC to implement monetary policy.

US Anti-CBDC Bill Passes Through House Financial Services Committee Along Party Lines
https://dailyhodl.com/2023/09/22/us-ant ... arty-lines
Emmer (R-MN), who introduced the bill, says the proposed legislation will prevent the American government from issuing a financial surveillance tool that can jeopardize privacy, individual sovereignty and free market competitiveness.

“The right to financial privacy is protected by the Constitution. We support the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act – legislation aimed at preventing a CBDC from being issued in the United States.”

"...along party lines"? Why would the democrats want a FedCoin-type of currency/surveillance to, ah, never mind, stupid question.

BTFP Program is Over $100 Billion, What's Going On? Fed's losing control. Banks have borrowed $107 Billion of what was an emergency fund.

Image

10 yr and 30 yr near 5% and a strong jobs market will push the Fed to resume raising rates cause more banks to tap into the BTFP emergency fund.
