CR's house in Colorado had a pool, a pond, and a stream - the property came with water rights, two shares, from the Gunnison River. CR's first house in Hawaii had no water feature. CR missed having a pool and considered putting one in - not enough space - dint mind the break from the chores. CR's new house has lotsa space (relative to Hawaii). CR has time for chores now.

That was part of the reason my uncle filled his in. Too many unappreciative asshole relatives inviting themselves over all the time to use the pool.

I almost got too much sun this weekend.
Today I had to slather on sunscreen twice. Oh, the humanity. Once for our trip to the community pool - 5 minute bike ride - and second, for our private lagoon, yeah, that's right. Below is a pic of my woodie and paddle board at the Hale Club - a 55 acre lagoon adjacent the ocean, just beyond the berm to the leftski. No one ever shows up, virtually private. I can park my woodie here cuz I know no one will nudderfutter with it.
