A: 1972, again in 1976. It switched in 1980, prolly cuz the democrats dint want to be associated with commie-red.

In Cold War America, the television networks couldn’t consistently identify one party as “red” – it was the color of communists, after all – without being accused of political bias. So depending on the election or the network, red and blue states were variously assigned to Democrats and Republicans.

With the advent of cable news beginning with CNN in 1980, political bias was self-evident and the MSM made sure red wasn't associated with the democrats, imho.

Good morning! The clerk hasn't given me a projected date. All she said it was it's still be reviewed. It's little wonder why our permit office was voted the worst in the country a month ago.

"Still being reviewed"? For a month. Surely it means someone's been looking at every molecule of information for 8 hours a day, over the past several weeks, right(?) Or it means it has yet to be looked at.
