Is it a Mopar? The ones on my friends Dodge Charger broke off at the valve stem. It appeared to just be decay from salt.

$60 but didn't need. Dopes at Firestone just didn't put enough air in for the sensor/s to notice. 
Firestone was also the place that said they couldn't repair a nail in ONE TIRE.
Said I would need all new tires.
