A decade of service. On the ropes for a few weeks and terminal fail at about 1 am.
Good news is they are $80 now vs $150 a decade ago. Got the cords as well.
Bad news, it will be aiding the Chinese as they manufacture the efficient little device and they are dopes. At least they are not holding basketball players for nine years for possessing dope.
And will probably have to change the number but only extended auto warranty guys call me, so no big deal.
Want to thank Flam again for the recommendation. Probably $5000 to the good over ten years. Should send him a box of well marbled steaks. Only seems right.
RIP Ooma

Re: RIP Ooma
One hour to get the new Ooma running, including ten minutes reading the instructions.
I budgeted nine hours, so that was a win.

Balked a bit last night and even bypassing the device, the internet was stalled.
Sort of like piloting a plane. Leave it alone for a while and it will find its glide.

Re: RIP Ooma
My dad had ooma for years.
ATT increased his internet to $75 a month so he had me cut it off.
Canceled the Ooma. That was difficult. No doesn't mean no to them.
Great service and price for many years though

Called to cancel the first account when I set up the new number. Expect to get double billed for a few cycles.
So long, Paul.
