SS bennies ONLY means no filing tax return.

I contacted the SS as a year is not posted, wouldn't accept a 1040 say the IRS must provide the info. I don't want to talk to the IRS.

Wasn't true a few years ago, but may be now. I've had online acct with them for more than a few years and my last mailed statement was right before covid. Was weird as I thought they wouldn't send snailmail after I set up online.
