Signed, Sealed, and FOUND!

Post by Comrade Renski »

UPS & ANACS have opened an investigation on 33 coins that were signed for (not by me) and delivered on July 3rd (not received). In the meantime, here are the cert #'s to look out for,...thank you.

If the tracking shows that it was delivered, you're screwed. Your only hope is that the signature doesn't come close to matching your signature. Don't wait to ask ANACS to file a claim.

Hope you get them back. At least it was just bullion, but still sucks.

One of your neighbors has them. Just be sure to say hello and start a mild conversation with them all and see who won’t look you in the eye.

Maybe UPS workers are disgruntled.

This will be easier to sort out once they go on strike.

I called ANACS to see what they need for me to get reimburse, insurance-wise. Basically, wait for the investigation (by UPS) to conclude. I opened up a Police investigation yesterday - they alert local pawn brokers. I went to my local UPS Store to see if they would be of smoe help, as in, oh, I dunno, who was the driver(?) Nope. Even though the person wore a UPS shirt, she said that they are not part of UPS. Gonna go down to the airport and do a little face-time with UPS Customer Service. No word from them since Wednesday. I mean, how hard is it? Who drove in my 'hood on July 3, 12:50 pm? Did the driver drop off the package? Why did driver or someone sign for it?

If the signature they got doesn't match your driver's license signature, that should be proof enough that they either stole it or mis-delivered it in which case they owe you the declared value of your coins. What was the total declared value? It may be too high for small claims court.

"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

Dude...that sucks.
I may not think much of the DC stuff, but to have your stuff get stolen like that really bites.
Hope you get it back, with no issues, and that someone gets a police record for doing it.
