My dad started to have a grabber in 1985 when he was 51. He didn't want to go to Grapevine Memorial so I drove like a bat out of hell down old Hwy 157 to Arlington General ..... most of it on the shoulder in rush hour traffic. A fuggin cop finally pulled me over and I told him the deal and he says "follow me". What a ride!!! They did the angiogram with a cath up the leg and found a 95% blockage. Put in a stent and he was good to go ... at least until around 2005 when he finally need a quad bypass.

He made it another 10 years after the quad ... so, youse two should have at least 30 to go; hopefully closer to 50

Gonna do a noninvasive heart scan. May not need options, which would be nice. Haven’t gotten far enough to know the options.

Seriously Clark, stents are a breeze. I have two and each time it was life changing as a hard core hiker. If they can't do a stent then bypass is necessary and that sucks. But I am not a doctor, I only play one one the OFR.
