Rub some dirt on it and walk it off.

Hope you get it straightened out whatever it is

I think his hernia was a low inguinal. Mine was a high umbilical. I think his can be a lot more painful afterwards. I never had any pain afterwards, but the remaining gas from the surgery was annoying. And I was paranoid as hell the first few times I sat up in bed or got in/out of a vehicle.
Get better soon, Clark.

It’s improving. Yes, it’s a inguinal. And I couldn’t get laparoscopic, so I have a 4” slice. Takes a bit more recovery time. Meh. I’ve felt worse.

At least they did the type of surgery they were supposed to do.
I had an old teammate that was supposed to get a vasectomy, but the jagoffs cut out about 4 feet of his small intestine instead.
Ooooops!!! Once everything was properly 'fixed' he wound up with $everal million buck$. The lawyers got a whole lotta dosh as well but they still had all of their "poop tubes" intact.

About four different peeps at the hospital asked me what surgery I was expecting, then the surgeon made a mark and everyone nodded.

That's because the surgeon got his degree in Sierra Leone and did not speak a word of English.

Look, folks, you can stop flooding me with calls, texts, and PMs expressing concern.
I’m doing a lot better. I can walk around without cursing loudly. Fewer drugs and ice packs.
