I like Tucker but I don't see this going well for him. What do you think?

Tucker should be fine. I would imagine his time with Trump got him over any gag reflex he had.

Tucker should be asking himself... Why would Putin talk to me?

Here is what Carlson had to say.
Most Americans have no idea why Putin invaded Ukraine or what his goals are now. … Americans have a right to know all they can about a war they’re implicated in and we have the right to tell them about it
I am afraid many will see this as Carlson doing PR for Putin. I can't imagine Putin will put up with any hardball questions. Putin usually just throws anyone asking hardball questions in jail, or makes them disappear.

He'll take incoming over it. Even fellow journalists will scorn, you'll see. :) Already Big Bill Kristol's weighed in with calls for imprisonment.

Well duh, that's exactly what it is.

Doubtful that he would but... Putin could probably tell us a lot about the Biden / Ukraine financial arrangements. Probably also a lot about the gain of function research funded by the USA in Ukrainian labs.

Can you please provide evidence in an international court of law showing there are Nazis that are subverting Russia's sovereignty from the Ukraine?

Will you please state for the record that Russian troops did not commit any random killings of civilians, and that all deaths were because they were armed combatants?

I don't need to be satisfied. My view is until a NATO nation is invaded this is a European problem and not ours. We are broke and should be cutting our spending and paying our debts, not making war unless a true Ally is involved. But when it comes to a hardball question, it is kinda like porn, you'll know it when you see it.

Was hoping to see some military training on Tucker's wiki resume. No luck. Boarding school nerd.

Putin has allegedly been ill with cancer for a couple years, so a quick Rambo type action would be effective. Carlson though would fail that.

Yeah, but this thing was gonna be over in 90 days. Russia was broke. C'mon.

Biden takes a train in from Poland to visit Zelensky so Putin is informed and calls off the troops for a couple days.

Putin doesn't like the arms that we are providing Ukraine so the US negotiates down.

No wonder that we get ten and twenty year, trillion dollar wars that are inconclusive.

If you can't invade Moscow...and you cannot because Vlad is armed to the teeth with nukes, then retreat and call in the cartographers to redraw the lines.

No, not an isolationist at all. I believe the US should stand strong with Allies and treaties signed. It is pathetic that our word means nothing today. I am all for giving Israel all the weapons they need to obliterate Hamas. I believe we should be clear to Xi about our resolve for Taiwan and stop this one China charade that the State Dept keeps bending to. But when it comes to non allies and corrupt governments fuddernutter 'em. We have more pressing problems at home to be addressed.
