"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

I'd take a clean Frankie over a WLH.

Especially first year. :D

Wow! I am hoping that could be a hair or something on the coin or the camera. You're right, if that is a scratch then .......

They are grading a lot more 67 FBL Frankies than they did 10 years ago. Either there are a lot more of them being submitted or the grading standards have been lowered. It used to be they had to be clean with superb luster to get 67 FBL grade. Now I seem to see a lot of 67 FBL coins that aren't that attractive.

:D I saw that too... I could learn to live with it.
I don't see where it's being sold for 35k though. Some dude posted it over on CU and it's a nice one.

I've got two REALLY clean Franklins that I don't want to separate from their tatham coin & stamp mail order envelopes.
I think they are 67 candidates and definitely full bell. My luck would be 65 or 66, wasted money. I'd just be pissed and end up cracking them out.

One of my early specialties was building BU Frankie sets and selling for $300

Ha, that's probably what they still sell for. That's the first set I put together in my early days.
I overpaid for a bunch, bought AU's for mint state money and eventually learned how to grade them pretty well.
Over the years, I swapped out a third of them with quality coins and still appreciate it when I look through the album. It's got all the proofs too.

my brother used to collect Franklins. Higher grade stuff and FBL. Pretty sure it was not a profitable venture, but he liked it for a number of years

That's a respectable amount for coin dealing over time.
