My Saturn wagon had to have one side of the front engine carriage/suspension replaced. Poor undercoating caused it to rust out. They wouldn't cover it under warrantly. Also the oil pan rusted out? How in the world can that happen?

I prefer something street legal. Plus, I bought it because my mother could get in and out of it and I could throw a wheelchair in the back. When I had my Blazer I had to carry a little stepladder for her and she thought it was undignified. Women, eh?
When the front subframe crumpled it cost me $2,200… no tires. A lot more parts involved and I didn’t get it done in this sub-10k population small town where they’re happy to let you buy your own parts without the usual garage markup.

How small is this town? My car’s done but I can’t pick it up yet. The garage closes at 5 on Friday and doesn’t open ‘til Monday morning.
There will be no emergency repairs here. Just slow it down there, fella. You must be from the Big City or sumpin’.
