quarter eagles take time.
"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

What's most irritating to me as I look at price guides (and this seems to happen to me A LOT) - The nicest two 1861 & 1898 are both 1 grade point below where the money jumps up a thousand bucks.

The 14-D Indian is pretty darn lusty with super clean fields!
I was pretty certain it had some wear but thought maybe, jut maybe it slides in as an UNC. Those are tough to grade.

They do now that he's on board. He's training their staff as well. I wasn't a huge fan of their images until he moved over.
There's a ongoing thread over on CU right now with some pretty awful examples of PCGS tru-views now that he is gone.

In hindsight, the dirt in the incuse should have been a clue to the AU condition.
It's super lusty in hand and I guess I was hasty in choosing to send this one along with my 4 coin voucher.

I really like that 1861. My favorite coin date, but I prefer them with a D. Too bad it's not old reverse.

Top of eagles shoulder is worn….

I almost think a quick dip and rinse on the 61 might pull you a 3….but as a 62, maybe it stands a good chance to CAC?

GC's previous photo capabilities had me NOT send them coins as many that I wanted to send had some toning.
Now, I am rethinking what I may send them. Phil takes pretty good photos and helped PCGS a lot in that regard. Not a fan of what I have seen of PCGS photos lately though
