I met a NUMISMATIST

Post by Rollo Tomassi »

Guy who cleaned the carpet saw my toy cabinet and told me he was a NUMISMATIST.
Said he buys and sells lots of coins. Starting with the hard ones.

the buffalo nickels.

and also too besides ....toned Roosies.

"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

His modest income could be augmented by selling some of my stuff on ebay.
But I am not getting any replies to emails I have sent to his 25 letters in the gmail name he gave me.

He says he sells quite a few coins there. hmm:

Don't need to collect anything to be a great numismatist. I think someone is showing a wee bit of elitism here.

Buddy in Detroit has owned a jewelry store for nearly 40 years.

Real place with one or two repair and size guys on the premises. Known retired dealer walks in and offers to have the carpet around the work areas "cleaned". Carpet yielded 3 or 4 ounces of 14k scrap.

No moral except he ought to have it done again.

Well, it wouldn't be me as I am too important to think like that. :!:

I'm living proof of the contrapositive.

Maybe we could ALL use some elitism.

Looked at his ebay store and W@W ....kinda

The money he gets for less-than-dreck is kinda impressive. No parking lot crap but stuff I would have wanted when I was 8 years old.

Think I and maybe a few others have lost sight of what a ....coin collection.... is.

Might talk to Ian about .01c starts.

Step-brother blew $400,000 in 18 months on coke. 1988 dollars.

Could have put a nice 19th century proof set together.
