Trump is charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. He is accused of paying her to shut her up before the 2016 election with Trump Organization Funds and taking the expense as legal retainer fees. If he had just paid her out of his own pocket there is no case.

The case is very weak. Cohen's credibility will be destroyed in cross. Team Trump will be able to find one or two sane people without TDS to sit on the jury. It will be hung. Of course a hung jury of 11-1 or 10-2 will provide the dems all the talking points they want. I was only correcting PH on what the trial is really about, it's not about all the FoxNews background noise he wrote above.

FWIW, I don't think any serious laws were broken. It seems more of an accounting issue than something criminal. I'm also sure that the action against Trump is 100% politically motivated. Any other person; any other year; this action does not happen.

That said, I also think Trump is a complete scumbag, and I can't understand why anyone would support or vote for him. He's an embarrassment to his family and to the nation.

Did you see Nikki got 16% in the PA primary, after dropping out months ago? Trump is losing Republicans, and he's gonna need them in November. If the 'pubs really want to beat Biden, they should ditch the OI at the convention and put someone young, smart, dynamic, and properly conservative on the ballot. A competent candidate should easily wipe the floor with braindead Biden. With Trump at the helm, it's a coin toss.

Vs Hillary and Biden, that was an easy choice.

I would say getting only 80% while running basically unopposed is cause for concern.

Biden only got 88% of the primary vote in PA. Trump was 82.5%

Not a huge difference when it comes to a primary…but seems like a bigger issue for an incumbent
