Although I have seen red paint coins I did not know this is what they were used for. Makes sense though.

Dives usually seeded the jukebox with their own quarters. It helped them figure out customer money from house money.

Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

I used to see painted coins at the laundromat back in the 70s.

Prior to the newer security additions, KD brand washers would fit various coin slots.
We sold CASES to truckers.
This was when pay phones gave change.
