Dragon Tongue Beans

Post by TRx »

Picked the first little bunch of dragon tongue beans and ate them. They are very tasty. Raw they taste like sweet snap peas and cooked like a mix of snap peas and asparagus. They are a bush bean. I think maybe from Vietnam iirc.

I googled it to check about the origin... I guess it wasn't Vietnam... it appears they are Dutch. I was close... at least from the same planet

Harvested radish yesterday and snap beans today. The garden grew well while we were away in Spain/Gibraltar.

Nice. Radish and the beans were our first stuff picked this year as well. The zukes and cuc's aren't far behind.

Looks really good

I'll be lucky to get any sugar snap peas with these rabbits. i love them little blasts of flavor. putting up some fencing today, they've got them nubbed down to ground level maybe they'll take off but then comes the summer mug in no time so wgaf  . beans outgrew them so i'm good on those at least.

Thanks guys, not one bead of sweat from this ol boy, mommas project. We don't have any critters here, they ate all of them except the black pigs.
