No pick as of yet, but I will say that if Fierceness gets away cleanly and has a problem free trip he will decimate this field.

Derby field should be capped at 12 or maybe 14 horses. #20 has to travel an extra 50 feet to get close to the rail, versus the inside entrants.

That is a bunch in a race that is decided by a nose, neck or head, oftentimes.

Sure beefs up the handle though.

1st -Fierceness
2nd -Just A Touch
3rd- Honor Marie

I would also use Sierra Leone and Catching Freedom in your exotics. My problem with them is they are closers with inside posts. They are probably better than my 2nd and 3rd pick, but they are going to get buried on the first turn.
